Understanding ABLE Accounts

  • Marc of Manchester 151 Sheldon Road Manchester, CT, 06042 United States (map)

For People with Disabilities and Families Who Have Questions About ABLE and Have Been Waiting to Open an Account.

Achieving a Better Life Experience (ABLE) accounts allow people with disabilities to set aside up to $15,000 a year or more in tax-free savings accounts without affecting their eligibility for government benefits. But many people are unsure about how to apply for ABLE accounts or how they can be used.

In this presentation you will receive an overview of ABLE accounts in Connecticut, then we will walk you through the ABLE account opening process and answer any questions you may have. Everyone will have the option to leave with an open ABLE account.
