Join us for Shaping the Future of Disability Rights: 2026 Nonpartisan Candidates’ Forum, a nonpartisan educational event focused on disability, accessibility and community priorities.
The forum provides an opportunity for individuals across Connecticut to hear directly from candidates on disability issues that affect daily life, while also connecting with organizations that provide services, advocacy and resources.
Candidates and/or surrogates for Governor, Lieutenant Governor, Attorney General, Secretary of the State and U.S. House of Representatives from all five Connecticut congressional districts have been invited to answer questions on disability-related topics. All candidates appearing on the general election ballot for these offices, including independent and petitioning candidates, will be invited to participate.
Moderator: Diane Smith, New York Times bestselling author, Emmy Award-winning journalist, documentary producer and speaker.
